App: Taja
It helps you publish videos on YouTube 10x faster.
Review
I am already signed into the app, but even when I visit the sign up link, I get this:
Do you notice the top bar showing Dashboard and Credits (47)? Yes, this is when I am already signed in. The sign up page itself has been quickly put together without any thought.
Instant generation of tags is a cool feature and you could even see a few stats (like monthly search volume and competition score) if you hover the mouse over each tag. Not all generated tags are relevant to your video, but you can generate more and select the most suitable ones.
Taja claims it can “generate accurate video descriptions and chapters automatically,” but the chapters I got here were about iPhone unboxing, while my video was about an amusement park.
You can generate multiple titles for your YouTube video, each showing a viral score that is calculated by keyword relevance, competition, your channel’s audience engagement and historical data.
Thumbnail generation is a feature I probably wouldn’t be using much. You can’t grab attention of users on YouTube with AI-generated thumbnails all the time. I would recommend other free apps out there that would do that one task of thumbnail creation well.
You can choose whether you want your thumbnails to be fully AI-generated. When I unselect the Fully AI Generated option, I get these thumbnails:
And these (for another video about a Kerala houseboat trip):
Far better than the fully AI generated thumbnails, don’t you think?
You can also see Growth Stats for each video and for that you need to link Taja to your YouTube channel. Don’t bother though as this feature has been down for months (as seen in the comments over here).
One of the most useful features of Taja is that it can convert your YouTube videos into viral shorts and clips with a single click. It doesn’t work effectively with all types of videos; videos with clear commentary work best. I have not yet tested this feature, so please come back for updates.
