NRIs Aren’t Hiring Local Trainers for Culture. It’s the Math.
Talked to a local gym trainer recently. He coaches a bunch of NRIs online. I assumed it was about language or food habits. Turns out, I was wrong.
He corrected me. It’s just math.
A trainer in the US or UK? $80 to $100 an hour. Three sessions a week, and that’s $1,000 a month. An Indian trainer charges $15 to $20 an hour. Maybe $250 a month. NRIs save thousands. That’s it.
We love to overcomplicate things. You don’t need a pitch deck or a brand story. Just show people what they save. That’s it.
If you sell digital services to clients abroad, stop leading with quality. Lead with the number. Put their local rate next to yours. Let the math do the talking.
Stuff you might be wondering (I’ll get to these):
- How do you show the math without sounding cheap?
- When the price is low, people assume the quality is too. How do you handle that?
