Principles

“Reduce options. Increase focus. Multiply results.”

If any task takes less than 2 minutes, it is wiser to complete it immediately rather than putting it off for later. (From the book Getting Things Done by David Allen)

Opinions

Output is everything. It doesn’t matter how much midnight oil you’ve burned or how long your time tracker has run.

Overthinking is not only stressful (if it is a firing-on-all-cylinders habit of yours); it’s also a significant waste of time. Nothing good comes from it. Don’t confuse it with a spreadsheet-based analysis or the creation of the good old pros and cons list.

My Experiences

Updating apps on the smartphone, checking new emails every half hour, etc. fuel our fake productivity. These are just a few of the many ways I procrastinate.

Decision Making

If you do not have any clear answers, then the answer is always no. You can always come back and get an answer when there is more clarity.
