It’s just everyone trying to put their point across over each other. One of the causes is obviously social media, particularly short-form media like Instagram and TikTok. And the cherry on top is the algorithm “proving” your point, but that is an altogether different concern. However, it may be even more serious than people becoming terrible at listening. Both issues may be the two worst effects of social media influence.
Anyway, the point I am making here is that you cannot get your point across, or that it won’t be heard, because the person receiving it isn’t even willing to hear it. In his mind, he wants to get his point across as soon as possible. I think you have to wait your turn, listen to what the person has to say, and maybe nod and walk away if you have tried your best.
